1. Sehtak is not a healthcare provider
1.1 Sehtak L.L.C-FZ operates an information directory of healthcare providers in the United Arab Emirates and a personal, on-device organizer for records you choose to keep. Sehtak does not practise medicine, pharmacy, nursing, laboratory science, or any regulated health profession.
1.2 Sehtak does not diagnose conditions, prescribe or dispense medicines, deliver treatment, or provide clinical opinions. It is not a medical device, and it makes no diagnostic or treatment claims.
2. Information only — not medical advice
2.1 All content in the Service — provider listings, categories, specialties, opening hours, prices, contact details, ratings, reviews, articles, and the records, reminders and nutrition entries you keep — is provided for general information and personal organization only.
2.2 None of it is medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or professional advice, and it must not be treated as such. It is not tailored to your circumstances and may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong.
2.3 Do not use the Service to diagnose or treat a health problem or disease. Always consult a licensed physician or other qualified health professional before acting on anything you find in the Service, starting or stopping any medicine, or making any health decision.
3. No doctor–patient relationship
3.1 Using the Service, contacting a provider through it, or keeping records in it does not create a doctor–patient, pharmacist–patient, or any other professional-care relationship between you and Sehtak.
3.2 Any care relationship you form is with the independent provider you choose — not with Sehtak.
4. Emergencies
In a medical emergency call 998 (ambulance) or 999 (police) immediately, or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not rely on Sehtak in an emergency. The app cannot summon help or contact anyone on your behalf. The emergency card only displays details you chose to store on your device; it does not alert responders and does not work without your device.
4.1 Never delay seeking professional help, and never disregard professional advice, because of something you read, saw, or organized in the Service.
5. The directory and provider independence
5.1 Providers in the directory are independent third parties. They are not employed, endorsed, licensed, supervised or controlled by Sehtak, and a listing is not a recommendation or a warranty of quality, safety, licensing or suitability.
5.2 Directory details are compiled from publicly available sources and may be inaccurate or out of date. Verify anything that matters — including a provider's credentials, licensing and current details — directly with the provider before you rely on it. See the Directory Listings policy.
6. Reviews and ratings
6.1 Ratings and reviews are the personal opinions of users, not Sehtak's assessment and not a measure of clinical quality or safety. They may be subjective, mistaken or incomplete, and should not be the sole basis for a health decision.
7. Your medical passport is a personal organizer
7.1 The medical passport is a self-managed organizer for your own reference, stored only on your device. It is not an authoritative or complete medical record, not a clinical document, and not a substitute for the records held by your clinicians.
7.2 You are responsible for the accuracy of what you record. Confirm anything clinically important — allergies, medications, doses, blood type, conditions — with your provider. Do not rely on the passport in place of professional records.
8. Reminders and nutrition content
8.1 Medication and appointment reminders are a convenience that depend on your device and your own settings; they may be delayed or missed and must not be relied on as the sole safeguard for taking a medicine or attending an appointment.
8.2 Any nutrition or wellness content is general information for personal organization, not a prescription, clinical dietary plan, or treatment. Consult a qualified professional about your own dietary or health needs.
9. Your responsibility
9.1 You use the information and tools in the Service at your own discretion and risk. To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Sehtak is not liable for any health decision, outcome, or reliance on the Service. This disclaimer is part of, and should be read with, the Terms of Service (see the limitation of liability there) and the Privacy Policy.
